I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore Star Wars fan, but do like the movies. Plan to rewatch them on Disney plus. Have yet to see the more recent ones

I'm concerned about the disc scratching packaging comments I've seen. Anyone actually have this that can confirm otherwise?

In case it comes back in stock, mine said estimated delivery was 01/04, but mine shipping this morning from Ohio and ETA is 12/31 (this coming Sat).

Ive seen the unboxing of this set and thought the same thing. I havent gotten mine, yet, to comment on the risk. I saw one reviewer indicate he bought aftermarket cases to use.

yeah, these cases suck, the Avengers infinity saga box set had the same crap, i put all of the disks in tyvek sleeves, which have a nice protective inner surface, and prevent the playing surface from scraping against anything when being removed/inserted.

In this case, I will also be looking for replacement case though, the form factor for this set sucks if you want to store on a disk rack (think books on a bookshelf), hopefully I can find cases that condense the volumes vs. standard size cases, if buying the individual movies would have been a similar cost I would have done that...
