Basically fedex called me about a severely damaged box, says its water logged and busted open asks if I wanted to refuse delivery. I say yes. I contacted Zavvi and let them know what was going on. Waited 2 weeks and no refund on my end.
I contact them again they inform me the courier team would be in contact with me. I spent the next 3 weeks contacting them every 4-5 days and kept getting a response of the courier team needs to handle this.
After getting I told them hey I'm going to have to start a chargeback please take care of this
They tell me they are going to process a refund. I contacted them three more times in the next two weeks asking where the refund is and giving them a deadline before me starting a chargeback.
I file a chargeback, they delete my account and ban me from using their site. My address is blacklisted.
Keep in mind, this is a fairly large kit, about 3' x 2' and heavy at about 29 lbs. Not something that will fit on a typical shelf.

In the process of building it, so can't answer your last question. I love star wars tho and big lego sets, so win win for me.

My motivation and track record here is clear. They screwed me out of a lot of money and I believe they are doing it to a lot of other people as well so I say something.
Why the sudden willingness on your part to not only come to their defense but research my history and call me out? Just saying who should people trust more the irate former customer citing a **** ton of other upset customers or the one who appears to love the company so much they can't just let a simple 'buyer beware' post stand unchecked. I have nothing to hide and nothing more to say. Let people make up their own mind and don't say I didn't caution you.

Those reviews are absolutely dumpster fire tier. DO NOT give them any business unless you want to deal with a company that will charge you and maybe ship you the item you ordered.

Are we comparing buying directly from LEGO where they have stellar customer service and don't sell bootleg sets?
