Thank you. How long can wait before activating the code? I am up to renewal in late June.

We switched to Red Pocket CDMA and it has been identical to Verizon Prepaid (but half the price!) Paid an extra $1 per month for visual voicemail. It was a pain to switch over because you couldn't switch directly from Verizon, but totally worth the effort. Great coverage: the only slowdown I've ever noticed is at crowded concerts or sporting events.

For those who are looking at some reviews for this, I moved my wife's # over to RedPocket about 5 years ago on this very same plan. She is on the GSMA plan and has had no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend it.

Hello! You'll have the flexibility of a 90-day activation period, and should this be the same plan you are renewing, you can stack now.

However, if the plans are not the same, then the existing plan will be forfeited.

Once the 3GB plan ends, simply apply the activation code associated with the 8GB annual plan so that it can take effect.

However, if you apply now, the remaining balance associated with the 3GB plan will be surrendered. So being that we offer a 90-day activation period, you should be fine by the time July comes around.

So I recently bought an iPhone from RP to take advantage of the 6 months free unlimited everything service (GSMA) and the free months will end on 9/23.

If I buy this plan (GSMA) and activate under my current RP account, does my account automatically get renewed for another year starting from 9/23??

I will tell you the opposite. Things were fine for years for my two lines, too.

But, then text messages randomly stopped appearing, and down the rabbit hole of TERRIBLE tech support that never responded to messages, never called back, never figured it out. So, I had to change to another MVNO. Then, Red Pocket said they couldn't remove the carrier lock on my iPhone - a total lie - until I went to the BBB. Then, suddenly they learned how. Of course, I was without that phone for weeks until the magical epiphany.

Just do yourself a favor and avoid these clowns. There are many other, much better, choices.

Thank you for your explanation. One more question. I am using red pocket att SIM card right now. Can I switch to red pocket T-Mobile and keep the same number?

I had rp for a few years and had no problems either. Android device, used lots of texts imo, but I'm not a teenage girl...so maybe not that many. I would absolutely go back to them if I had to pay for service again. International calling was great the few times we used it.

I was with RP for 3 years. No issues. But 8GB was not enough . So last month I switched over to mint.

$17.5 is per 30 days, not per month. $210 cover 360 days, not whole year.
