I will tell you the opposite. Things were fine for years for my two lines, too.

But, then text messages randomly stopped appearing, and down the rabbit hole of TERRIBLE tech support that never responded to messages, never called back, never figured it out. So, I had to change to another MVNO. Then, Red Pocket said they couldn't remove the carrier lock on my iPhone - a total lie - until I went to the BBB. Then, suddenly they learned how. Of course, I was without that phone for weeks until the magical epiphany.

Just do yourself a favor and avoid these clowns. There are many other, much better, choices.
For those who are looking at some reviews for this, I moved my wife's # over to RedPocket about 5 years ago on this very same plan. She is on the GSMA plan and has had no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend it.
Hello! You'll have the flexibility of a 90-day activation period, and should this be the same plan you are renewing, you can stack now.

However, if the plans are not the same, then the existing plan will be forfeited.

I've been on RP Verizon for nearly a year. Paid $165 for unlimited talk and text, 3GB data.

I'm not a heavy user (obviously), but have had no problems, and have enjoyed Verizon's great coverage, a first for me. I dread having to ever call support, though, based on others' feedback.

Two things to be aware of:
• Hotspot is not available on Android on RP Verizon (iPhone only); and
• International texts cost 20c each (free on GSMA and GSMT).

Once the 3GB plan ends, simply apply the activation code associated with the 8GB annual plan so that it can take effect.

However, if you apply now, the remaining balance associated with the 3GB plan will be surrendered. So being that we offer a 90-day activation period, you should be fine by the time July comes around.
So if my current 3GB plan payment due date is next Monday, should I use the 8GB activation code on next Monday or next Tuesday? Thanks!

Extra $50 on select annual plans using code MOMSDAY50 on RP website. Expires May 9th.

It says "$50 off any Annual Plan when you buy a new line from redpocket.com through May 9, 2022". Can I buy it and use it to renew my current line?
I got the email as well and had the same question: does it require a new line to take advantage of the $50 off promotion? Hope the RP rep on SD can answer the question. TIA

This service is GARBAGE. Network cuts out and Data usage is not counted properly. This is a Scam company. Also Customer service is terrible and they wont help you very much.

Could you elaborate what other MVNO you think it's better?
We switched to Ting and have been very happy.

I was with RP for 3 years. No issues. But 8GB was not enough . So last month I switched over to mint.
RP also have 20GB, 50GB, 100GB plans. I've had the 20GB since Dec. and downgraded an 8GB plan to 1GB.

How long after buying do we get the code, by e-mail. I bought as a renewal and have not received it yet.

I got it less than a day the last time I bought one but not yet. Did not know if that changed yet?

Thanks
Usually 24-48hrs; if not you can contact them via chat; They used to be pretty prompt but since last fall I've seen more reports of delayed missing emails.

Either way, you have a 30/60 day grace period so it's not like you'll lose your number. Monday if you're risk-averse, Tuesday if you're not and willing to chance losing a day of service. I have multiple lines so I don't pay much attention.

This was a pain in the butt switching from AT&T. Took a good 3 months for it to fully transfer for my ex-girlfriend. They kept saying they needed a transfer PIN, and AT&T swore they gave the correct one...was back and forth and finally I guess someone figured it out. And even now, I don't think she has LTE on her iPhone XR, it was just showing 3G last I checked.

We recommend applying the code the day of your renewal (or a day before) to ensure there isn't any interruption.
