i highly recommend buying Path of Fire
which includes ways to get travel mounts
they are very useful for completing this game.
mounts are not things you can buy, you have
to do a lot of stuff in game to achieve them.
if you wait for the back to school game sales
you should be able to get it and the latest
End of Dragon expansion 20-40% off.
if you play 30-60min daily, you won't need
to buy gems for convenience and fashion items
because you can also buy them with gold you
will save up in game over time.
if you are new to this game, use game timers
google the wiki and search for youtube walkthru
because pretty much every question you can
possibly have has been well documented over
the 9 years this game has been out.
even though you are encouraged to join a guild
most players only use them to keep them company
because most events and achievements can be
done with the help of people doing similar on the
same map - so you rarely have to bug your guild
to help you with anything.
looking at the heroic items;
1 Legacy Armor = a boring skin, you won't use it much
1 18-slot mithril box = can buy for 3 gold in game anytime
4 hero boosters = 30min each saves a little leveling up time
so don't rush to sign up just for these freebies
do it if you are ready to put some time into this game
since it takes daily housekeeping to get ahead in it.
it won't matter that others have been playing for years
that won't interfere at all with your own journey.

only to see them come out with Lineage W which you
could not pay me to play.
the difference is NCSoft bought areanet after GW was
and established title, and left them pretty much alone.
carbine was bought out mid wildstar development,
so ncsoft had to not to disrupt their other projects,
and carbine fumbled wildstar's premature beta
and later it's buggy free to play launch.
so in wildstar's case, carbine was the real FU
that ncsoft ended up losing a ton of money on.
but i don't blame you for being bitter if you invested
hundreds of hours on an mmorpg that got shut down.
I fixed that by going to this page https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/gefo...s/sign-up/ and making sure all requirements were met. You have to make sure your account is enrolled in GeForce Rewards. You can also get there by going to https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/acco...t-profile/ and clicking "Enroll" in the "GeForce Rewards" section.
Then I went back to step 6 and a graphic for GW2 appeared and I could redeem it.

gw2 will instance huge map sections, as one fills instance of it is made
and as one empties out, the game encourages you to move to a more active
instance of the same map. there are no waiting lobbies to fill up squads.
if you like pvp, there are five huge instanced maps where hundreds may
be battling others for supremacy over that map's poi. the game also scales
so a high level/gear player does not have much advantage over lowbies
while killing something on a lowbie map. it's common to see high players
on lowbie maps doing % completion or various daily routines while there,
or simply repeating favorite jumping puzzles or whatever, however drops
do not scale up to suddenly be more profitable for higher level players.
this scaling is also done on pvp maps, leaving them player skill based,
and based on pvp achievements you can accumulate while there.
btw, yes, you have to check the "recommended" privacy setting in both Dev and Gaming for the deal to show up in step 6. Otherwise, all you get is the redemption box.
Then again, I will say, WoW is NOT for me, but some people love(d) it. However, I have not noticed the same level of toxicity in the player base as other games. In general, there are a number of other players willing to help you out if you ask, including mentors that float around and help others get things to progress their characters or complete meta events.

It appears your account creation attempts are continuing to be caught by our security checks. To avoid this issue, we do have some suggestions you can try:
• Use a different Internet browser
• Make sure that Javascript is enabled
• If you are using a VPN/proxy, disable the service
• Verify that the device timezone is properly set for your location
• If you have had too many failed attempts, wait 24 hours before making another attempt
After that they'll just tell you to contact them again if you have any problems. I never did, I decided it wasn't worth my time and effort.
