I just got the hori split controller, and I can't recommend it enough

Thoughts on Deaths Gambit and La Mulana? I love metroidvanias, but I had Blasphemous and had difficulty using the joycons to play. Eventually I bought it on PS4 and the controls worked better for me.

Still waiting for Hori to come out with a Split Pad Pro PRO with gyro, rumble, and integrated batteries for detached play

I own both a hori split pro and nyxi joypad and the nyxi checks all the boxes for me. Only thing missing is nfc and i can live without that.

This looks identical the Binbok controller I tried from Amazon. I think it's the same controller. I had lots of issues with wireless connectivity on that one, I'm pretty sure it was related to the Switch bluetooth audio Nintendo patched in. Some kind of interference or something that was causing severe input delay, one controller disconnecting, etc. Either way, after going through 2 sets, sadly I am still on the hunt. I have to say though, these were way more comfortable to use than the standard joycons and if you only plan on playing this handheld, directly connected to your switch, it's a pretty decent choice.

I've only ever played them connected in handheld mode and haven't ran into any connectivity issues while using them and a Bluetooth headset. Can't vouch for wireless mode, but as you said, extremely comfortable in the hands.

Just wanted to say that I loved Aragami on PS4! Classic stealth gameplay with really cool art style, fun mechanics, and replayability. I'd definitely recommend if you haven't tried it!
