have one. This thing is mostly useless. Will only read generic engine codes and DOES NOT work with Audis, BMWs, etc! Ended up getting it for free as the seller just refunded me.
Probably the air bag.
Wouldn't a OBD2 reader with Bluetooth and connects to your phone be a more pleasant experience than dealing with this rudimentary screen? I bought a INTEY OBD2 reader for $4 from Amazon in 2018 that connects to my Android phone and gives me a much richer display with more information than this simple 5-line B/W display.

I tried a couple, but settled on the paid "Pro" version of Car Scanner [google.com]. I think it was under $5 to unlock all the features.

All of these cheap 20-$30 OBD2 readers are the same with a different package. They do the basic stuff. No ABS or SRS stuff but this works well for $10.61. You will probably have to spend $50 for the more advanced featured OBD code readers.

I received mine today. It correctly read the CE emissions code(gas cap loose), erased it and the IM readiness scanner worked as well for my 2004 Lexus RX330. Before the deletion, everything was on and ready. After deletion, It was showing off and incomplete for most emissions stuff.

Once you plug it in, the display turns on and there is also a backlight. You connect to the car(took about 10 secs to connect). I didnt have any issues with it only having 2 buttons. I can see it being troublesome if you have a lot of codes to sort through.

Really happy I got this. Thanks OP.
