I love this device, but it needs an update badly. The screen is not good, the battery life is mediocre, and the base specs are low end.

Not worth $550 right now.

Like it but holding out for next model and hope they finally start offering 16gb and higher storage on GO devices.

Where have you been for the past ten years? Almost all devices have batteries that are not replaceable.

I absolutely love these Go laptops, but having a base 4GB model was crazy and made the other models overpriced for what you got, especially with the lower res screen and no backlit keyboard. The sale prices they've had lately have been nice, but when compared to other similar style laptops (like the Galaxy Book Flex2 Alpha) at the same prices that give you more it's still hard to get one of these. Maybe one day MS will finally get around to releasing a new model, but they seem to be focused on their uberexpensive laptops lately.

The Battery is bonded to the glass, so it is almost impossible.

is this laptop good as your regular daily laptop? Seen this laptop but half the space of it at best buy a while back and even though the screen is small, it didn't seem that bad. Screen also looks very bright etc. Also you get a good size gb for this... would most agree? Since when not on sale, you going to get this with have the ssd space and no gift card?

Would this be good as a second laptop for entertainment such as using it as a Virtual Machine? Certainly it has enough ram to do many things? Also the battery is bad? Shouldn't it have lot of battery because it is a light device?

So you can't get replacement battery for it after it wears out?

Considering the extra $100 gift card, and the fact that the Surface Laptop Go 2 with these specs and an updated processor will most likely sell for $700, this is a good deal if it fits your needs.
