The soft trickle of the water as it moves down this fountain provides a relaxing ambience for birds as they try to get in a quick afternoon nap.

Keep in mind this needs a power supply.

I have one of these. All I can say is it's not worth it if you live in an area with a lot of sunshine. They fade fast and you'll constantly be filling it with water. Ended up refinishing mine and now I just use it as a decoration without it running.

I assume you just turn it on and let it run... how much electricity will it consume? thats my only concern.
looking at the manual, the supplied pump only uses 5 watts so not very much electricity at all.

This is apparently the exact pump.

In terms of actual $ cost, if your power company charges you 40 cents/kWh, at 5 watts, running this for 24 hours will cost you about 5 cents.

If you kept it on nonstop for an entire month, it will cost you about $1.50.

If I didn't already have 3 fountains, I'd be all over this deal. But, I'm REALLY tempted...

With four fountains, you could be a sister city with Retorbido, Italy.

yes... in california. peak hour usage is 39cents/kwh.
But I mostly used that number as an example because it rounds all $/day nicely.

Do you have a link to the power supply needed for this or does it come with one already?

What a cool idea to waste electricity for no reason.

Because posting on Slickdeals is eco friendly, right?

How do you think the water gets up to the top to recirculate?

Thinking of what you could do with this for Halloween, too. Put dry ice in it to make it smoke. Put red coloring to make it look like blood. It might go well with some pirate ship type of theme.
