Was price shopping for a Makita blower and stuck between the XBU02 and XBU03. Didn't realize this is a really good price for XBU02. Obviously won't beat value of XBU03 for $50 which I missed out on, but the next cheapest was CPO at $200 with 10% off.

If it helps I have this blower and like it. I use it for light cleanup and it works well

I may be missing something here, but seems like the kit is the better buy at $90 more for 2 5.0 batteries and dual charger, which would put it into the price range of Ego's 650 and 765 cfm blowers. Also the specs don't seem much better than Makita's XBU03 at only +14 cfm and +4 mph, I'm assuming runtime is the main advantage?

It comes down to Newtons of force. This one is 14. I don't know what the others are. I am in the Makita ecosystem. I only needed the tool since I already have batteries.

Agreed, there is definitely value in being able to use the same batteries for both power tools and OPE.
