All, question, so I bought this when the $500 cash card deal was going on. Are you sure I can get the $200 price adjustment and also still qualify for the $500 gift card? Don't want to risk missing out on the $500 just to get the $200 now.
Yes. Confirmed by multiple people (including myself ) in the other thread about this tv

Any idea if the 500 dollar costco shop card offer will be back ? Is there a trend which Costco follows in terms of when they offer it ?

When the new models are coming out in like two months, this needs to be about 2300 for me to pull the trigger. Older model.

I'm in the same situation. I was told YES, the adjustment will NOT affect the gift card in the chat and also on a call. It is $2,400 in the store, but they will not price match online to the store and visa-versa I was told.

Got it. Thank you! So, it's confirmed that they adjusted the price down $200 and you'll still get the gift card! I'll try my luck also.

How long have you waited for the price adjustment be approved?

I chat with the agent yesterday. They said they submitted the form for me and I need to wait 3-5 business days for approval.

The agent did not confirm immediately on chat for me for $200 back.

I ordered the TV on 5/4.

$2498 on VerdeToe right now. They don't charge tax in my state, either, so that's like getting it for $2350ish at local retail. Plus they ship it for free. LG C1 was $2499. $2200-2300 total is what I'm after, so I wait.

Who are the 2 idiots that are thumbs downing most comments here? Haters of the Sony?

Let me just say to all who would hate. I bought my parents the 65" C1 2 months ago from one of the big sales. I fully calibrated it and I have to say, I hated the picture quality of that TV and it almost turned me off to spending so much on the Sony.

Everyone should know, all the reviews saying the A80J and C1 are neck in neck, are absolutely BOGUS!

The A80J is simply amazing, clear, clean, liquidy and just jaw dropping in every way. To me the C1 was grainy and rough in picture quality. It's not ugly but not a tv anyone should ever compare to the A80J again!

Yup agreed. I had them both (77in) side by side at home and the A80J is much better - to my eyes at least. The PQ, motion on the a80j with the XR processor is much better then the C1 with the A9. Plus, I prefer the google OS better than the LG. Gaming on the PS5 is also noticeably a better experience for me.

I should also add that I was looking forward to buy the C1 for a year now, couldn't wait to get it home. Once I did, the motion processing bothered the heck outta me having had the Pano VT60 plasma that it was replacing for 8 years. The A80j - while not 100% there with the motion handling of the VT60, it's much closer vs the C1.
