I haven't seen this posted but Amazon has select Bosch tools for $20 off $100 plus an extra $55 off when you spend $300. The $20 off is meh because the few tools that I looked at seemed to have jumped $20 in price recently. That said, there are some that are reasonably priced using Amazon price trackers.

Where it gets deal-worthy is the extra $55 off. I bought this sander for $299: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...0DER&psc=1

Plus these sanding discs: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

The total cost was $232 before tax. That is $40 less than its historic low. I get 5% back with the Amazon visa so add that in as well.

So if you need right around $300 in qualifying Bosch tools there's some deals to be had. Search for deals here: https://www.amazon.com/promotion/...2AJFJRHPGN

Sir, please let me help you. Search "tool" or "Sander" or "router" and other high value items. Examples:

Some of the lower priced tools ($120-180) when you add the tool and batteries and necessary accessories you'll probably be right near $300. YMMV on the hotness of the deal. Again you have to make sure that the items you're adding to reach $300 haven't been jacked up in price.
I can wait. I cancelled my 5 inch and got the 6 inch instead. My GF said that the extra inch makes a difference. Got the extra soft pad.
That is an awesome sander!

But if you don't have it, I recommend getting the 6N.

A 6 inch sander is $20 more and once you go with a 6in you'll never be able to go back to 5in again.

(Some Bosch 5in sanders can take a 6in pad, but not this one.)

And I highly recommend getting the extra soft pads.

I also wish they'd make a high end 18v sander. The $130 is surprisingly nice for a cordless sander, but it doesn't compare to the 75's.

Bosch really needs to step it up in North American market. They could have the best tools in the US, but it's like they do t want to go through the efforts. 😞

Things like this sale (and the crazy good deal at Lowe's for the profactor impact wrench with 8ah profactor battery, and fast charger) often happens right before they (finally) bring their new tools out. (Hammer drill, left blade strongarm ... but not the good version of the left blade strongarm. 😢 .)

Of course, I could be wrong as Bosch has a tendency to do a press release, then wait 40 to 50 years to actually make the tool for sale. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Hopefully the heavily tested 18v router will be available in 2036 ? 🤣 🤣

All in all, this is a pretty good deal. But I hope some of you got in on the Lowe's impact wrench deal the other day.

The 6" is actually the same price if you buy it from amazon as the seller, which you need to do to get the extra $ off. However, there's a 1-2 month wait. I've found that those wait times are rather conservative.

In for the 6" with discs as filler for 250 OTD. Very slick. Competes with the Rotex for 1/3 the price. Woo!

get the 6in. I looked and was initially surprised the 5" was only a 2.25 orbit, good for finish sanding coatings may as well get the cheap orbit sanders as they are typically 2mm, the 6 is 4.5mm....closer to 5 which allows you to get real work done (along with the forced mode)
