If you plan on using shears for cutting proteins, spend a few more bucks and get shears that come apart easily.

+COUPON: additional $1.08 coupon clipped bringing price down to $6.11 (automatically came up on my screen, unsure if it will be there for everyone).
Looks like the coupon will work for multiple orders if wanting more than one pair.

I've had these before. Don't last a lifetime but for the price, definitely worth it.

Sounds like top notch customer service…had some issues with a few Oxo products and they have been great, not international based CS and sent out a replacement quickly.

Don't air dry the scissors when its wet, it'll get rust for sure. Wipe it dry right away after washing it.

I agree with Mr. Shruggles. I particularly like good shears to do some cutting on chicken. Then when I am done, take them apart and put them in the dishwasher on the sanitize setting. Super easy, stays sharp, and I never ever worry about rust. I use these specifically (in fact, I have two pair):

In the time of price fluctuation and inflation, that isn't bad. You could also set up a price alart if you wanted to wait and try to save a few more bucks.

I recommend these instead. The pair I have has been going strong for 10+ years. Right now they are $16.

Not sure if these are different than the similar looking ones from Target. Bought a pair from there a few years back, amazing for cutting foods, including meats. Washed them immediately after, never any rusting issues.

Terrible for cutting stuff that normal scissors should handle though.

This is a garbage shear usually included with cheap knife blocks to add more pieces. Do yourself a favor and spend your money on a real set that will last the rest of your life:

There is shipping at the restaurant supply, but surely you need a ladle or fish turner or something too.

Based on all the comments, might as well only spend $.97 at Walmart. Regular price.

They are okay, but they still have cheap plastic over-molded handles. For about the same price you can get a Dexter Russell PS02-CP 8 1/2" Sani Safe® Utility Shears from Katom.com that is a better shear with a forged handle.

Weird, I bought these exact scissors a year ago and I just throw them in the drying rack with the utlensils after I wash them. Haven't had any issues with rust at all.
