I bought one of these for
$29 in 2021. It's a good option if you want a timed switch in an older home. I could not fit a timer switch in the wall, the existing box was too small. This was a reasonable solution for my issue.

I have one, bought another. You need the hub to use it with Alexa or Google, but they're great. I use it to hit the reset button on my pc remotely if it acts up while I'm on vacation.

You know, I had an idea to use one of these on my buzzer, so that I can open my front door remotely without any keys, or let a deliver person in if I'm not at home. And it seems to integrate with Home Assistant. Hmmmm very intrigued...

Anyone use this on their severs at work? Is there a preset time on the app that you select or do you press it on the app it in real time?

I have been using one of these the last 3 winters to turn on a propane Rinnai heater. Works very well for that purpose, only real downside is occasionally for whatever reason it will time out/not work, and then if you are not near the device you don't know if it turned it on or not.
