Generally not beneficial — IF you have a balanced diet, which is hard to do in practice. So a multi does no real harm and can be seen as cheap insurance against minor deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals.
Not all of us have a Costco near us! Closest one to me is over an hour 1 way, so this is cheaper for me.
Well I rotate through the value meals at mcd so I think I'm set

Inflated price. Why not just get the Kirkland brand from xostc which is on sale? Cheaper than this deal and comes with 500 pills
There's one main reason: The Kirkland multi is not formulated specifically for Men, and as such contains 100% DV Iron. A men's formulated vitamin will never have iron.

Seems a legit question, if one is a Costco member. Half this price per count, if purchased in warehouse. Or will One A Day make one twice as healthy?
If you're male, you don't want the Iron in the Kirkland multi

Agreed ! I get nauseous if I take them on an empty stomach

This is for man, don't know why those multivitamins are separated on man, woman, below 50,above 50 etc.. Is this a marketing trick?

Men and women have different dosage needs, age is also a factor.

Naturemade, one a day and centrum are better than other brands. Cheaper brands may not have the concentration of multivitamins as advertised. Balanced diet is a achievable but not for everyone. Multivitamins possibly helps but be sure to get checked for the common ones like the vit Bs and D in ur yearly health checkup. Overdose can be a problem as also stated by someone. Eat with food as it helps absorption.

For reference, a 500 pill bottle from Kirkland, which has more vitamins, etc., is slightly cheaper.

edit: I see others have mentioned this.

After reading the thread, for those who question these pills, consider the fact that pharmacists and doctors recommend them.

In my 20s and early 30s, I never felt a difference taking vitamins. Now that I'm a little older, vitamins make a difference for me. YMMV as everyone's body and diet is different.
Can you share how vitamins helped? Right now I take Vit D because it's low, but nothing else.
Thanks.

Dead.

Would have preferred this but Costco $20 for 500 is cheaper and comes with free shipping. Only $1 extra for non-members so it's not bad.

Whenever I take vitamins, I feel more energetic and no longer feel like I need an afternoon nap. I'm not sure what it is my body is lacking, but it works for me. Been taking one every other day. Taking it everyday makes me a bit jittery.
