Great specs and great review. But I don't know how I feel about an older CPU.

It really depends on your use case. For office/productivity and general use, this is likely more than powerful enough for the next several years.

Agree. I guess I should've said "I don't know how I feel about an older CPU at this price".

Not dissing the deal. Just not sure if the price is appealing to me.

Not worth $700. There are tons of deals every day. Unless you're in a rush, something better will be available.

Something better will always be available later. That's just how tech works.

That being said, there's not a lot out there with this mix of features around this price point. If you have a comparable deal to point to within the last few weeks, I'd love to see it.

The HP Pavilion Aero 13 on Slickdeals right now is a much better deal, IMHO.

That's not a 2 in 1, without a touchscreen at all, lower resolution, half the memory, half the SSD capacity, and only one USB C port, not Thunderbolt. It's not at all comparable.

I think this or the MSI from Costco would be more comparable

You can configure it as you like. How would I know that a 2 in 1 is a requirement? For me, it's a nice to have.

The USB C port does everything except allow the use of an external GPU, which is pointless in any ultra portable laptop, or work with a Thunderbolt dock.

Nope. Once you've used an 11th gen Evo processor you can feel how old the 10th gen is.

I would buy 11th gen not 10th. 11th gen has a much better integrated graphics performance.

I have two laptops that I use daily. One has a Whiskey Lake i7 (2018) and the other has an i7-1165G7. They perform exactly the same for general use.

Looks like a solid deal.

My only real concerns would be the DPC latency and display ghosting that Notebookcheck found. I also really enjoy having a built in dock for the stylus.
