Solid deal. I paid $30 for 72 for this. This is not one of those lightweight kcups. The $ per cup metric is meaningless without looking at the weight.

Does this taste good with the 10 oz setting? I find that a lot of k cups taste watered down at 10 oz.

I do 10oz...but then I'm not super picky :-)

But I can NOT do 10oz for lightweight kcups like Green Mountains for sure.

These are 0.4oz per cup so they're not like at Starbucks level (those are like 0.42-0.44oz range).

When I've had the Caribou before in variety packs, it seemed less strong than the others in the mix. Surprising, since it's an actual coffee chain. Even McDonald's ones have more flavor I'd say. And you rarely see the old "Extra Bold" cups these days.

How did you find the coffee per pod weight? Is there a website that lists it?

it's printed on every retail kcup packaging (the paper box, not the pod itself), all manufacturers .

Which one of the Caribou though? Their Vanilla/Hazelnut for instance is very lightweight (0.33oz).

Also "extra bold" or not only matters to a certain point. You can have a 0.33oz extra bold pod that you feel watered down at 10oz vs a 0.44oz light roast one that doesn't.

What's the best bang for the buck Kcups around? I'm looking for something that will brew strong on the largest cup size (I think mine goes to 12 oz), and so far the Kirkland Pacific has probably been one of my faves in the price range.

I believe I had the Caribou medium but may have also had a light roast. It def wasn't a flavored one, just a standard from the Amazon variety pack. I'm only one opinion but it seemed weak.

Interesting that the internal grounds weights are on the packaging; never knew that. But as for the "Extra Bold", that was an old-school K-Cup label supposedly meaning it had 20% (or 25?) more grounds, and it used to be on many cups about a decade ago, but lately I've only seen it on Newman's Own.
