Yes. Every Gen 4 x4 M.2 SSD will work with the PS5. The speed doesn't matter, unless you want to future-proof. Sony recommends one with a speed of at least 5500, but it makes no difference. Not a single game uses the full bandwidth of these SSDs yet. I have one that has a speed of 3600 and there is zero difference compared to the one the PS5 comes with. Digital Foundry did a test with one that had a speed of 3200 and games only sometimes took 1 second longer to load than the built-in PS5 SSD. This is a decent deal. Mine was $75.

  • With LDPC (Low Density Parity Check Code) and AES 256-bit encryption, the LEGEND 840 ensures accurate data transmissions and security
  • LEGEND series SSDs use only high quality ICs that have been rigorously tested. For further peace of mind, they come backed by a 5-year warranty

$109.99 normally but there's a $20 off coupon upon checkout to make it $89.99

this possibly for the PS5. Xbox uses a different SSD that you plug in the back. it sucks because they're a bit more expensive compared to m.2's not to mention they're slower.

Minimum TBW: 650 according to their site. There are others in the ballpark that have up to 1600 minimum TBW, if you care about a bit more longevity, but otherwise, excellent deal.

I have several USB flash drives from Adata, far more reliable than SanDisk. With PCIe 4 this seems to be a good deal for 1TB.

Ps5 recommends minimum read of 5500 this one is 5000. Not sure if it will accept it because of that. Apparently according to others it will though.

It will. Recommended and required are two different things. I have one that has a speed of 3600 and there is no difference between it and the one that comes with the PS5. In fact, even SSDs with speed of 7000 only load games 1 second faster than mine. If it even does that. No games use the full bandwidth of these SSDs, yet.

Almost pull the trigger before I read Amazon reviews. It seems it's not reliable SSD. Many died within few months period. Good deal though
