It's not a $5 GC, it's a "bonus" card. Watch out for these bonus cards. They often have terms and conditions which state "not valid with any othe offer". So it might not be valid if you you another coupon or sepecial deal like Wednesday or Early Dining discounts.

This cannot be understated. These $5 "bonus" gift cards will not work with anything else. If you have a free appetizer for your birthday, you will not be able to use the $5. If you want to use this with your other gift cards you bought to get this it will not work. Not worth the hassle IMO.

I just celebrated my wife's mother day and saved $10. Yes, no other special event or discount applied but I checked T&C it does not mention any restrictions. where does it say that?

Yes, I hate these bonus ones that have terms/conditions.

It does say bonus card but it doesn't have any expiration or mention anything about restrictions. It appears it is a regular gift card as a bonus.

I bought 2 cards and got a $10 bonus in a single other card.

Here are the terms and conditions on the bonus card.

Using your eGift Card is simple:

Present your server or cashier with your eGift Card from your smartphone or tablet.

Terms and Conditions: Redeemable only at U.S. Texas Roadhouse restaurants. Not valid for internet purchases. No fees. No expiration date. Not a credit or debit card. Remaining value of damaged, lost, or stolen cards only replaced with proof of purchase. Not redeemable for cash, except as required by law. For complete terms or questions, visit www.texasroadhouse.com. Armadillo, Inc. or its successor or designee is the card issuer and sole obligor to the card holder. Another party may be substituted as the card issuer and sole obligor without card holder's consent. Purchase, use, or acceptance of card constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Looks like $75 for $72.98 and $50 for $47.98 - a big $2 off! Almost enough for a polish sausage, but they stopped selling those.

I had the same experience…no special terms and no expiration. Seems it really is a $5 gift card.
