Not sure how much faster you're expecting.
Gasoline 11,000 surge watts, 8,300 running
Propane 9,500 surge, 7,500 running
Here in Florida we mostly use generators two ways -
Portable power for outdoors activities, a day or a weekend
Essential power for days and sometimes weeks of household survival
Suggest consider carefully your needs and calculate carefully the power required ...
then stay under "running" - regularly push to exceed the running spec load and expect generator failure.
Have fuel reserves and where they can be safely be stored - 20 gallons of gasoline will run a large generator 2-3 days - LP is cleaner but requires large tanks.
The more power you use the faster the fuel consumption.
In calculating reserves keep in mind where/how fuel can be replenished in storm conditions where supply lines and local roads are often impacted.
Most Importantly - have a licensed electrician connect to your Power Box - back feeding from improper installation is dangerous and illegal.

i don't own one, but would like to get one just to keep refrigerator running in a small apartment, so a compact size at the lowest price is my criteria.

I ended up going for the Westinghouse. The Wen has a better THD rating, but the Westinghouse has a better runtime rating. I don't know that either matter, since the manufacturers come up with those numbers, not some standardized 3rd party testing.
For just a fridge, you should get a much smaller generator, probably in the 2000 watt range. If it's a "smart" fridge definitely get an inverter, and honestly if the budget allows it you should get an inverter generator anyway.
This Wen is great and currently on sale:

...but there are a bunch of options in that range. Harbor Freight Predator line is good as well, but currently not on sale.

Check your refrigerator for specific power consumption, Inverters range from $400 to $1200 with one of the best rated is around $800 at an offshore tool and equipment store near you. (mostly)
Warning, you CANNOT pull start on gas. It's hardwired that way. So don't leave the key in the on position when draining fuel to cut it off per instruction... Dead battery is a no start condition and can only be started by jumping it off a vehicle or swapping to propane and pull start to charge battery
