This LG Air Purifying Fan was first introduced at the 2022 CES show and it was released beginning of this year. It's MSRP is $600 from LG website https://www.lg.com/us/air-care-so.../lg-u9cv2b.
There aren't many cheaper OEM filters for this now since it just came out, but if this gets popular, then there should be some other cheaper alternatives on Amazon.com or what not.
I personally purchased this when it was first came out at my local Costco store, wish it was at this price, but I'll contact them to price match.
I am so satisfied with the product compared to Dyson's HP04 or TP04, which are priced about the same or $100-$200 more. This machine, coverage of 800sq space according to the website, can filter air faster than the Dysons but it doesn't really matter to me much because I love the design of the LG so much better.
This is part of the LG's premium line called "OBJET Collection" originally sold in South Korea for over $1000. I love the look of it that looks like bigger version of Bang & Olufsen Beosound 1,2 design.
Another good thing about this is it uses a TRUE HEPA filter with UV NANO LED that kills 99.9% of bacteria on fan blades for an added layer of protection according to the LG's website. this UV NANO feature only applied to this higher trim of this fan.

$150 savings is valid 5/7/22 through 6/6/22. While supplies last. Limit 2 per member.

A Powerful Filtration System with advanced True HEPA
UVnano™ LED Technology
Room Size Air Circulation - 818 sq.ft.
PM 1.0 Sensor & Smart LCD Indicator Display
Multi-Directional Purified Air Flow
Multi-Fan Modes

I hope this helps you making a purchasing decision.

I don't know what you are talking by saying "chipper".
You should read what I said in the description. I said there is no Chipper OEM filter yet. but in the future there should be one chipper than its original filter replacement.

It's cheaper, not chipper. Also no info on replacement filter cost, although the filter lasts about 1 year per manual.

Does this do that much more than the Winix $99 deal they put out off and on? The C545 or whatever? I have those in a few rooms of my house and have been really happy with them

Edit disregard, it's a fan too. Got it. I have the dyson that heats too and it's pretty solid

I don't think the Dyson filter will fit for this right?

It definitely won't fit. Remember, this is LG not Dyson. unless Dyson makes an Universal True HEPA filter for other devices.

U9CV1C is the model at Costco. On LG's site an MSRP isn't specified: https://www.lg.com/us/air-care-so.../lg-u9cv1c

I know. 1C model didn't have detailed information on the website, so I used the same model with different colored model of 2B.

Own one, love it. Recommend it. Note that the PuriCare Tower with the heating function will be launching this fall (this one doesn't have that feature).

PSA: The unit is primarily a fan, NOT an air purifier even though it is marketed as being both. How do I know this? The CADR listed under the specs on LG's website is 90 (at the highest speed), which is very low for a $400 air purifier. Similarly priced air purifiers from Blueair, Winix, etc. all have CADR of 250+.

Ideally you want a CADR that is 2/3 of the room size in sq. ft., although if it is lower and your air purifying needs aren't that intensive it is fine. However, LG is advertising a max room size of 800 sq. ft. with a CADR of only 90 (and that too on max speed which the unit will rarely be in on the auto setting), which is just ridiculous.

Somehow I can't even find the CADR value on LG's website. That's weird.
