Great price for new! FYI, for those like myself who don't mind factory refurbished, you can get one for $72.99 from CPO Commerce on eBay. NOT saying that's a better deal or comparing new to refurbished -- just an option. 🙂

Good deal for those that already have the Makita batts (not me). Also, saw that Amazon was selling 110 disc sanding disk package for only $16.99.
Quantity - 110pcs 11 different grades sanding discs: 40/60/80/120/180/240/320/400/600/800/1000 grits, 10 of each type.

Material - Made from aluminium oxide abrasive and thick E paper, abrasion resistance and anti-static.

Size - 5 inch in diameter, would fit any brand random orbit sander, such as BLACK+DECKER, DEWALT, Bosch, Makita, PORTER-CABLE, etc.

Or as I prefer to see it, the #1 rated sander in the LXT line in which I'm already heavily invested. 😄

Does the dust bag work? I need a dust free option - guessing this doesn't have that or connects to a shop vac.

I don't think there's a such thing as a dust free sander.

I just got this recently - Bag works better than my Chicago Electric (Harbor Freight) corded (had for years) and Ryobi cordless (it was like $12, impulse buy) but none of the bags work all that well. The Makita dust port is a weird size to hook up to a shop vac, too, it's very small. There are some sellers on Etsy that 3d print adapters for the Makita to more standard sizes, or Makita sells a hose that's advertised to fit it (I returned mine, it didn't fit at all). I got a Cen Tec hose with a few adapters that has one that kiiiiinda fits but isn't great. I'm still debating if I'm going to keep using this or try one of the Etsy adapters.

Even with a shop vac duct taped to the port with a good seal, there's still some dust though, I don't think you can get around it.
