You would need to spray fire paint end of every season to keep it like new.

These are 1-year fire pits in the humid regions. Not a bad price, but this year decided to upgrade to save the hassle of replacing yearly despite the good price

Don't forget to put a layer of sand in the bottom before using. Try to keep the hot coals away from the walls too and the paint will last longer.

Sand on bottom will also prevent heat from radiating from the bottom to burn grass or burn whatever you are sitting it on
