Bought the 65" one during last black Friday and all HDMI ports are already broken/defected.

These have been sitting on the ocean on container ships for months and months and months during the supply chain cargo container issues we had for the last year and the salt in the air corrodes all of the cheap reactive metals that make up the HDMI Port connectors and most of the other connectors that are made out of sheet metals that corrode extremely fast with the high salt concentration in the air which they were exposed to for months and months and months on end. Most electronics that were sitting in cargo container ships on the ocean are ticking time bombs for the future and problems you will have due to corrosion of micro metal connections.

Wouldn't multiple layers of packaging defeat this?

Meh. I have the 75" Toshiba 350 [amazon.com] at the foot of my California King waterbed.

Recent purchase? Price isn't showing anywhere near 350 unfortunately. Ug.

Man, please. If you live by the ocean you shouldn't get electronics either, right? GTFO here with that nonsense.

Haven't you heard, electronics stop working within 100 miles of any shoreline Wink

Aren't these in boxes and stacked on pallets and then wrapped in layers and layers of plastic wrap which minimizes air penetration. And then put inside a metal storage container which is not airtight, but does not have much airflow. And then these containers are stacked high and packed tightly against each other which minimizes airflow around them.

It's not like they were open on the ships deck being sprayed by sea water
One of the worst comments I've ever seen on here. Actually getting +s! Too much time on container ships and corrosion…. Ridiculous. I spent half my life on ships in the ocean and i have never seen a TV die because of "corrosion".

Unless you explain as to why your comment is what it is...why waste your time and ours. This is SD not FB we're not ignorant. U just sound like a hater. It wouldn't surprise me if you didn't even know of a reason why you would never buy this brand. Just saying make useful and helpful comments not just hateful ones

It was back in December and it was $475 after Paypal discount. Great TV and great price. I wasn't offering a better deal...simply suggesting a 70" tv in the bedroom was not so big a deal.

I'm not a fan of Element sets. BUT, I urge people to see the set in Walmart and decide for themselves if it is good enough.

Good price if this is just the 70" version of the 65" one that was $299 during Black Friday. I have that one and no issues since. Well worth it for a cheap bedroom TV.
How big are these bedrooms

Is it letting you order it for shipping or pickup? All options are greyed out for me even though the price shows up correctly. (I'm in NJ)
