Bought the 65" one during last black Friday and all HDMI ports are already broken/defected.

These have been sitting on the ocean on container ships for months and months and months during the supply chain cargo container issues we had for the last year and the salt in the air corrodes all of the cheap reactive metals that make up the HDMI Port connectors and most of the other connectors that are made out of sheet metals that corrode extremely fast with the high salt concentration in the air which they were exposed to for months and months and months on end. Most electronics that were sitting in cargo container ships on the ocean are ticking time bombs for the future and problems you will have due to corrosion of micro metal connections.

Wouldn't multiple layers of packaging defeat this?

Is it letting you order it for shipping or pickup? All options are greyed out for me even though the price shows up correctly. (I'm in NJ)
Try different stores, check this one you may have to try in the store...

Bought one. Returned 30min later because it was defective. There was an alert popping all the time saying that the USB device had insufficient power.

I bought the 65 for 299 a few months back. My TV has given me no problems. I think it's a fantastic bargain. 4k looks great. Games look great ect. Boot up time is very fast and Roku is quit excellent. No regrets.
Those people that spent $10k on their name brand 55in TV will hate you. Lol

Well I got this and just started this. As of now it's connected to streaming and works well. Picture quality is very good for price. Sound is also good, with one complaint, Sound at 100 SOUNDS same as Sound at 20.

This is funny because they're pretty well protected in a box ... Your argument might be ok if it was like they're sitting in some open air containers to be boxed over here but I'm pretty sure they're pretty well boxed over where they've been output. They'd probably last a VERY long time unless they've been drenched in the waters out there, which would be pretty obvious

You don't need any TVs. It is not a necessity

-- It's inexpensive. I was looking to trim my electric bill by weening my kid off the 60″ plasma. -- My kid loves it for games.
-- It's pretty. It's not plasma and the picture fades if you are far to the left or right or far above or below the set, but from most of my living room, it looks great and I see no motion blur watching sports. I bought the second one to replace a 43″ plasma in my bedroom. Very satisfied.
-- It's smart. Not smart like it can run apps (it runs the Roku OS). Smart like it remembers what input you last used when powered on. That means if you use an antenna, it comes up like a dumb television. For some of us, that is very nice.
It's informative. Hit the back button on the remote and you get a full screen grid style EPG (Electronic Program Guide).
-- It's tricky. Plug a 16g USB 2.0 thumb drive into this television and you will be able to pause, rewind, and fast forward through 90 minutes of television. This television does not record programs, but it does most of the things we do with a DVR.

Just picked it up. Needed a new TV after my 55" TCL went black screen. Been using my 8 year old 42" Element and the picture is so much brighter. I often had a hard time seeing things on the TCL, because the screen was so dark.

This is pretty common and not a big deal. Whatever you have plugged in to the USB port is looking for more power. Does not mean it won't run fine with less.

It's HUGE.
Box is 5 ft 8 in x 3 ft 7 in x 7 in. I knew it would be too big for my small SUV, so I had them put it on my roof rack. Good thing I had some rope. They didn't.
