Bought the 65" one during last black Friday and all HDMI ports are already broken/defected.

These have been sitting on the ocean on container ships for months and months and months during the supply chain cargo container issues we had for the last year and the salt in the air corrodes all of the cheap reactive metals that make up the HDMI Port connectors and most of the other connectors that are made out of sheet metals that corrode extremely fast with the high salt concentration in the air which they were exposed to for months and months and months on end. Most electronics that were sitting in cargo container ships on the ocean are ticking time bombs for the future and problems you will have due to corrosion of micro metal connections.

Wouldn't multiple layers of packaging defeat this?

I finally upgraded my bedroom Seiki 2016. I saw this late Monday and was able to snag the last one of two for pickup on the Phoenix area. In happy enough with it, even being Element given every TV I have owned has been off brand Chinese panel. Well welcomed for $323 out the door.

Picked up this TV and mounted it for a friend. Its surprisingly light. The picture quality is also surprisingly good. The TV response is surprisingly slow. It takes a few seconds to power off, or turn on apps, even selecting profiles inside the HBO app was slow.

Overall though, its very nice for the price.
Plus a Roku stick in that bit and it's all good

In theory it should yes however, that's under average or that is to say more normal conditions traveling back and forth. These didn't make that journey… they just sat and sat for many months so the materials and packaging they used aren't equipped to sustain that.
You have no idea if these sat at all.

Cheap TV for kids or garage. For me, I rather have a nice picture quality.

Strong contrast level. No DSE.

The problem with Elements is the high return rate and what I would call inferior picture.

But cheap is cheap.....Get a good warranty. You will need it.

The test is to turn off room lights and see how good the contrast is on a dark scene in a movie.

The test is to watch a hockey game or soccer game and see any DSE (bars, bands, dark corners). Hockey games are better since that white background while panning really shows problems.

I could buy a cheap Vizio, Cheap Samsung, or TCL. But Elements...I guess what is worse that Elements would be Westinghouse followed by Sanyo.

But if it has a VA panel...perhaps it might spin out a good picture if perhaps the type of panel they use is AU Optronics.

If you ordered one at the sale price but ended up receiving a notice that it's out of stock, I suggest you not go through with finalizing the order cancellation. Instead of cancelling, there's a selection where you can choose another method, then the system will allow you to look for inventory at other stores and place an order with them.

I believe the sale price is no longer available, but as long as you ordered at the sale price, you can pick up the set as other stores restock.
