Marketing: "We need to come up with a name for our new headset."
CEO: "On my last business trip, I read that spending on cloud computing is due to increase 76% annually through 2030. We need in on that market share. Make them cloud headsets!"
Marketing: "But sir..."cloud" has nothing to do with headsets. It is just a euphamism for somebody else's compu...."
CEO: "We don't have time to discuss this. I have racquetball in 30 minutes!"
Marketing: "How about Cloud....ummm....Core?"
CEO: "I like it. These cloud computing headphones are going to be huge!"
I have this. It sounds good, and has a sturdy build, but I have to get rid of it because the ear cups kill my ears. If you have smaller ears, you should be fine. Also, the microphone is iffy. I'm using these with a PS5 and my friends say that while my voice comes through pretty well, there's this "poof" sound. That hasn't been an issue with other mics that I've used.

How do you use the dongle on Xbox series x
You can't use the USB connector for console. You have to plug directly into the the controller's 2.5mm jack. You also can only get 7.1 surround on PC. The USB connector is for PC.

It detaches from USB cord and can be plugged into the Xbox controller. Make sure to install DTS surround sound for better experience. Dolby is great too but I believe it's better for movies not gaming.

Love your humor.
I believe the cloud reference is how light the headband is supposed to feel like on your head. Supposed to, mind you.
edit: give us something on the hyperX part. that name I never understood.

Aftermarket leather cups resurrected this set for me.

Well clearly they had a Red Bull before racketball and that is their secret sauce or X factor in beating Jim from sales.
And cloud computing, at least per my networking class 20 years ago, refers to the globbity gloop that magically gets your data from point A to point B. It is actually pretty crazy when you learn about all the different stuff that goes into routing data and such. I am sure it has changed since then. This was a class in HS where you get could Cisco certified because, at the time, Cisco couldn't get enough people trained fast enough. As a point of reference, right as the class was ending, 802.11b became available to consumers (although stupid expensive add ons).
