It was on sale last December? I bought one for $80 and my wife really likes it.

With that said, it's overpriced as shit.

https://www.costco.com/kitchenaid...86590.html This is usually on sale for $20. This is the compact one and doesn't use much counter space. I have been using this for over 5 years and it's held up well.

Have had this for a few years and it still looks like new. Great dish rack but one of the biggest complaints about it now is that they have removed the bamboo knife holders for some reason which. Glad I got mine before they decided to remove it.

Is this a cheapened version of what they sell in retail stores?
(A lot, not all, of household things sold at Costco seem to be cheapened versions of the manufacturers retail offerings).

It's overpriced for a dish rack. However if it's something that sits out on a countertop near the sink, it looks significantly better than most so we don't feel the need to hide it when guests visit.
Protip - stay away from people who judge you for drying your dishes next to the kitchen sink, including family.

Where else do people dry their dishes?

Hiding my $7 Walmart Mainstays drying racks from visitors has never crossed my mind.

Better get it at bed bath and beyond. I got it using 20 off 80. Bought $100 gift card from their store during Easter with $20 bonus. Spend $100 and get $25 back in funds. You may not see Easter like promo on gift card soon. But you can buy their gift cards on some sites and then use cash back sites. Wait for back in funds promo. It was available two days back. It will come back again. A lot of hoops. But wasn't that hard for me. No caddy though.

Is this needed with a dishwasher? I'm about to finally install a dishwasher after years of washing by hand-When I absolutely should have gotten one of these. But I too always heard they rusted.

Most households don't have the free countertop space necessary to keep this out.

I bought this when it was on-sale in December and it's definitely been one of my favorite purchases in the last year. I never knew how badly I needed a dishrack instead of just a foam drying pad.
I just use my dishwasher as drying rack.
