I have no idea how good of a deal this is but it's kinda sus that it's on the front page with no comments. I was going to order but now I feel like I'm trying to be tricked into buying it.

I stopped using a different deal site completely because I got "tricked" into thinking a $1,000+ laptop was a great deal when it was basically MSRP and I found out the deal site was being paid to promote it.
I'm not saying this is happening here but I'm getting the same feeling.

I can't comment on the price but I have used this before. It's best to think of it as a barrier and less of a healing ointment.

If you have exposed/cracked skin or even a minor burn then you can put this on to help protect it from being just open.

Don't treat it like an antibiotic.

Aquaphor is amazing... Been using it for over a decade for my really dry eczema hands.

That being said... These things used to be like $8 for the jar on sale... But haven't seen that price in years so this might be more of the standard sale price these days. Might have to grab one as I'm running low

The 14oz jar is usually $15 anywhere I try to find it, so this is a worthwhile deal to grab one or two. They might be close to being "expired" but we've never had issues with them after the expiration date.

Can confirm! I last bought Aquaphor on an Amazon Slickdeal in July 2018. I am still using it today, despite the fact that it must be waaaay past "expired." It still works perfectly fine. Smilie

Shilling (especially by staff) is extremely common here but Aquaphor is legit good. It's basically like better Vaseline. I use it a lot in the winter. I like the Aveeno Repair location stuff in the jar for the day and then I use Aquaphor before going to bed, otherwise it takes some time to absorb into the skin since it's largely petroleum jelly.

Thanks for the insight. I grabbed one based on the feedback I've seen in the comments here. I still do value the feedback of this community even if I have to look at deals more carefully.

This is good advice but can sometimes be misleading. CCC does not include coupons in their price tracking history which some listings use more than others. So a product that is always $20 but has a $15 off coupon 90% of the time will still show the lowest price being $20 on CCC. Most of the time it doesn't make that big of an impact but I have seen many threads on SD where it does.

Does it really heal the cracked skin or only protect it?

Heal. I have crack skin on the edge of my thumb all the time. It's a small crack, not too painful but extremely irritating. Apply a coat of Aquaphor and keep it dry for several hours. Repeat several times. Next day or two, crack is gone.

If you are a Costco member, it may be worth checking the price of the two jar pack. Same with Cetaphil, which was $15 or so for 2 of the jars recently, while Target was selling a single jar for $13.
