Northrock XC00 bike is $100 off from its regular price. I saw this in store as well, and it looked much better than their boss three bikes. Sale ends on 5/13.

I'm not a bicycle snob, so I'm not sure where this stands in the bicycle spectrum.

With only a 7-speed 1x7 drivetrain with 14-28 gearing, this bike lacks the gear range necessary to get much utility out of a fat bike - unless you're just buying it to ride around the neighborhood with the kids.

Had never heard of Northrock until I got a bike for my 13 yo from Costco - seems very solid, lightweight (aluminium) and was SUPER easy to assemble. Am I the only one with PTSD from assembling bikes ~ 30 years ago where the thing literally came in individual pieces?

The model I bought isn't this one, just commenting on the brand. She was riding it within 10-15 minutes of unboxing.
