These are veneered wood. It's hard to argue against them at this price, but if you are a little older with an established residence it might make sense to buy a real wood set.

I spent many hours researching this a few years ago. I bought the below set for $78.66 in 2019. They cost too much right now as the great corporate shafting of pandemic America continues, but at $100 they are a solid buy. The only thing better I could find in 2019 was a wood set built by the Amish, but they were nearly $500.

If you need them now, this cheap set from Target is a nice holdover.
Gramma and pop-pop will be thrilled.

I have these, and have had them for 10 years now. They are showing their age and come apart at times, but still worth the price. I think I paid $40 - $50 at the time.

I hope the paint/finish doesn't rub off.

Good thing this isn't available for free shipping. I know I'd just buy it due to the price and end up never using it. 😂

If you don't need 4 tables and can fork out a bit more $, I would recommend going with something like these instead, much sturdier, bigger and better. You can bring in these tables closer to you without the awkwardness of the X legs on the ones on this post.

Problem with those is the don't fold or store away easily.
I have mine as side tables. The 4 folded tables + stand take as much space as two of these pushed together Smilie

These are going back. Not worth the $30 and for sure not worth the regular price.

Such a wasted trip. Trays are dinged up a bit, and I could deal with that, but they are flimsy, wobbly, and just not a decent as I expected. Guess I had higher hopes on these then I should have.

The paint/finish is already coming off….before I even unpacked them.

D@mn, sorry to hear that. I have around 3x of those type of trays at my house that I purchased from Walmart many moons ago which have been repurposed as a TV/AV remote stand and they only have a wood finish which is what I prefer.
