I bought this the other day. Really nice hoop - a total bitch to put together, and was FAR too big for my needs so we're taking it back. But it's a great deal.

Agree wife and I put together in a couple hours. Would not have expected to take that long. Love the hoop, only complaint is wish the backboard was firmer.

Update: my bad. Thought the package would be too wide to the SUV. But from the actual experience in later post, it obviously can be put into a SUV.

Just got the Lifetime 54" Action Grip from Big 5 for my son's birthday. It was $359 after coupon. I think it's the same one Sam's sells for $448. If I didn't get it already probably would've just gotten this one. But I must say, that thing is awesome and I have no regrets. It's so easy to adjust, looks super official and feels like it is built to last (we'll see, lol).

I had one of these, after a few years the plexiglass started separating from the frame and cracking. Decent for the price if you want something temporary.

In bought this last year. Easily fit into minivan.

It's a real bummer that this thing is a bit too tall to fit into the average garage. My garage ceiling is 9'4" or so, and according to Q&A, the hoop is 10'5" at its lowest setting.

Does anyone know if an adjustable board that can collapse a bit to under 9' tall?
