My Lowe's didn't have them in the clearance section. They were mixed in with the new UPCs. Had to dig through them to find a UPC that matched brickseek.

I've had my K5 setup for a couple of years. I have done thousands of pocket holes with it (I make cornhole boards) and have had zero issues. I must be lucky.

If brickseek is showing multiple, there's a good chance they aren't on the floor but on the inventory shelves near the section. An employee was able to find them there and bring a few down for me.

My store has many but no one can find. They had already swapped to the new version of this. When you check out at your store, be sure to have the correct UPC of the old kit. If you found your price is different ($140), most likely you pick up the new version.

If Kreg ever started using good plastic, and metals, I'd pay 2x the price for their products.

the lowes i went to only has one clearance location at the back left corner of the store by the employee break room and restrooms. I would suggest looking in the tool area too. Since they told me they were replacing it with another UPC it may be mixed in with the new UPC's

i am in Ohio. most stores around me have it for this price. I also checked the Chicago, IL and Fort Worth, TX areas on Brickseek and found most of those stores have it for the $89 price too
