no, i can't. i don't return items simply because i don't like them or think they don't work - that goes against my principles. but appreciate your input; i'll have to think on it.

Not sure about your logic there. You see some shoes online buy them, get them and decide they don't look good on you, return it. You buy a massage gun and find it really doesn't help you, return it. Same principle, nothing wrong there.

Now buying a prom dress, wearing it to prom and returning it. Thats differernt and makes sense as not ethical.

I literally bought a Theragun Prime from Best Buy last week.
Could you have metaphorically, theoretically or figuratively bought it last week?

it's logical if you're consistent. i've never bought shoes either (or any item) and then returned them simply because they don't look good on me if i've USED THEM. same principle.

I have a Theragun massager. I also have a few other massagers like Chinese knockoffs from Amazon and sharper image from Costco. I have also tried 2 other massagers that were on sale at Costco (I forget the names). Below are my thoughts:

If you are big, muscular or beefy buy Theragun prime. The higher amplitude is necessary to penetrate deeper into the muscle to remove knots and aches. If you are bonier or thin buy sharper image, which is also currently on sale at Costco.

Sharper Image massager is good for forearms, arms, calves and near spine as well. It doesn't hurt and has good power. Theragun is great, even necessary, for the bigger muscle groups like quads, glutes, hamstrings, shoulders, etc.

Do not buy Chinese knockoffs with 1000 reviews on Amazon. All are fake reviews or bought reviews. The machines are horrible. They stall, make noise or just break.

Do not buy Theragun Pro with 60 lbs of force. 95% of the population will barely go till 40 lbs, so it's a waste of money. Theragun Pro is great for commercial establishments like physical therapists, wellness centers, etc because of the interchangeable battery. Home use does not need interchangeable battery or as much force as advertised, so save your money.
I'm skeptical… isn't it all the same mechanics? Why wouldn't a sub $50 knockoff work for most people? The noise isn't a concern for anyone using this for a few mins.

The real concern is the damn itchiness after using. With the same mechanics I don't see these expensive units alleviating that concern.

Do not buy! I bought one in March, it failed in a week. I mailed it in for a replacement. They still haven't sent one! WORST customer service ever.
That's why you buy from Costco.

Costco is the best place to get one of these since they can just drop dead suddenly. I bought a Pro from Best Buy and it arrived dead. Wouldn't hold a charge.

Theraguns are louder, have a deeper throw, and more adjustability than Hypervolts. Theraguns have a more percussive application than HV's but it's not by much. I love my Hypervolt Plus (1st Gen) and so do my patients.

Amazon currently has the prime for 233$
I just bought my wife the prime for mother's day and it was 250$. She loves it
Good gift! I might get this prime version but am considering the pro simply because it has the removable batteries. Assuming this product is as premium as people say, I'd imagine the batteries giving out before the brushless motor, so in that case, many years down the road it would simply require a new battery and it's good to go. Whereas the prime version is not removable. Not sure that alone is worth the double cost though.

To each their own.
I have tried many and Theragun is definitely better. I provided my thoughts for other people who may have questions. If a Chinese knockoff works for someone then great for them.

Wow. Great deal. I just bought the Mini via Craigslist BNIB for $90 and the Elite BNIB via Ebay for $260.

But - it's pretty hard to get a deal like this straight from a retailer like Costco. Costco also allows you to return all kinds of shit for a long time - so this is a killer deal. Personally - I wouldn't go with the Pro because a bit too loud and the ergo isn't great for self-care. It's more of a device used for working on other people - mostly serious athletes and what not.

It's so funny that no one gives St about your comment. Whenever this kind of over priced so called "discounted" items show up, we can only see those professional applause and flowers. Like $1500 office chair, $2000 mountain bike. It's not that I don't believe in Rich people are out there, I just don't believe those people have the time or the mood to hang out here on Slickdeals, and being a pro and post maniac. All I want to say is that, come on, guys, don't be fooled, don't fool.
