I've had this laptop for about 4 months (got it at Costco for $50 more than this deal).

I think it's great for the price. Great screen with 16:10, good performance, solid backlit keyboard. Nice variety of ports (Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, USB-A and C). I like the keyboard lift too.

For a compact home or travel laptop it's pretty great.

The only cons are the fans can be noisy at times. The fingerprint scanner is fussy too, and seems to work/stop working when installing updates.

How's the trackpad? Any over-heating issues? I'm debating between this and a refurbished Surface Laptop Go. Just looking for something light with great battery life. The build quality of this Dell is making me hesitate.
Trackpad is decent - no issues. Battery life seems ok, I would say about 6-7 hours on average. It does tend to heat up a bit and fan gets noisy, but I haven't found that to be a big problem overall. I've read a lot of concerns about BQ, the only issues for me has been the fingerprint sensor not always working (it seems every update makes it work/not work).

Overall I would recommend it, other than a touch screen, it has a lot of positives for the price. Good performance, ports, light weight, and nice 16:10 screen.

Read the 1 star reviews on Costco before buying. It may be the reason this one is getting discounted.

Hmm..how would this compare to the Yoga 6 BB deal? https://slickdeals.net/f/15763294-lenovo-yoga-6-13-touchscreen-laptop-ryzen-7-5700u-13-3-1080p-512gb...

I got the Yoga 6 for $500 Like New. Wondering if I should return Yoga 6 for this?
I am just waiting for that deal to come back. IMO Yoga 2-in-1 Tab functionality adds more comfort for user and Ryzen 7 makes it more technically solid compared to this deal.

Also where do you get Yoga 6 for $500 from I would love to jump on that.

is it very fast laptop? What about video card? Can you use this as your main laptop even though screen size is not big? But using it connected to external monitors?

Hi all,
I was wondering the same. I have a Samsung EVO970 Plus 2TB in my current laptop (XPS15 9560), but having issues with the motherboard and want to "update" to this one here if the SSD isn´t soldered. Could not find any information online either, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

i7 (effectively - high power, XE 96EU graphics) with 16gb and no glaring flaws approaching $500 is a sign of an impending economic collapse.
Wrong. Everything you said is false.

The i7:
Has 4 MB larger L3 cache size
Consumes up to 20% less energy than the Core i5 11320H – 28 vs 35 Watt
4% higher Turbo Boost frequency (4.7 GHz vs 4.5 GHz)

The i5 is "effectively" NOT an i7. Quit misleading people.
