It doesn't make sense that baitcasters and spinning reels have opposite side cranks. Left handed baitcaster reels should be standard

It's much easier to use a left hand retrieve baitcaster (as a righty), don't have to swap hands after casting.

Yay4fishing. Also a friend has some omen rods and associated reels. He seems to be content with that especially at a low price point

I have the right hand and got it for a similar price over the winter. Not a big fan of the brakes on this reel but use it for lighter lures and it works great.

Academy discontinued the 13 Fishing line recently. They have a similar green (saltwater) reel that I love, retail $100. Two weeks ago, got one clearanced $69 then the floor model $35. Great baitcasters.

Amen. Love my LH reels as a right hander.

Want to pick this one up but I have two Z's and a curado already, not sure I really need a 4th baitcaster...

The same thing people swear a manual transmission from the 90s is better than a 10-speed automatic in 2022. They didn't have a choice when they learned how to drive/cast.
