For those not in the know, don't bother with vanilla Persona 5 (the Ultimate Edition in this post). The Royal version adds a ton of features, content, and quality of life changes, and it's practically the same price.

Correct, this is the first game Sony has removed from the PS+ Collection available only to those who are PS+ and have PS5 consoles. The game was removed from the PS+ Collection today. For those that are PS+ subscribers with PS5s, immediately add those collection games before they possibly disappear in the future. Like the regular PS+ "free" games, if you don't add it to your library you won't get to "keep" it.

Royal Deluxe actually was $19.54 a few months ago, passed on it because still have too many games to finish and I know it'll eventually go lower or the same

I believe yesterday was the last day to claim Persona 5 (original version, not Royal) as a part of the PS Plus instant game collection for PS5 owners. Royal is the best way to play the game anyway though.
