It's relatively thin, protects well, and I've had no issues using the touchscreen with it on. Water can get behind it if you're not careful but this has not been a problem for me, and I wash my hands alot.
These are better than going naked, but they definitely get sweat and water behind them, which messes with the electrostatic touch. Just a heads up, not a dealbreaker. My previous one was by Adipoy, almost identical to this.

I'm more of a "substance over style" person so the extra shell and minimized shininess doesn't bother me. The touch is a little diminished but works fine, glass a little foggy but perfectly readable, and I'm glad to have a cheap $5 case take the hit when my wrist brushes a wall rather than a $500 watch.
I get that they also protect the watch though...so that part makes sense.
