Sorry, point was that BPA in this type of food packaging is considered safe, a fact that has been reaffirmed through literally hundreds of studies. Studies that find links to adverse health effects always come up short and conclude only "possible" links, but that is in cases where the BPA was allowed to seap into food, typically through heating (hence why you are not supposed to leave a BPA water bottle in the sun).

what you think is "fresh" may have been traveling cross country for or cross border picked 2 or 3 weeks ago. if you consider that "fresh", I've got a bridge to sell you. there are times frozen and canned (when not full of preservatives or salt) are flash frozen or canned hours after being picked.. so the choice is 3 weeks fresh or hours frozen or canned in some cases
