As long as your board supports it, this is a solid deal.

Not all B450 mb support 5000 series. Also, They don't have m.2 gen 4. I would recommend B550 for budget builds with 5000 series

$243 seem exaggerated for this. $65 for RAM and $80 for SSD seems pretty common.

Is this an ok deal for a basic gaming rig?

Planning to build a rig with 5600x + RX 6700 XT

Thanks! Just started ordering/collecting parts. Planning to go ITX. Any recommendation for a board for 5600x?

6700 XT may be a bit much for a "basic" gaming rig. I would consider the 6600 XT. I just built one for my son with a 5600x and a B550 motherboard and it plays everything great on that 6600 XT.

I thought that 1 TB had finally come down under the $100 price point?

Thanks. My monitor happens to be 1440p so am trying to get a rig to play some games on 1440p to appreciate the good graphics.

I am an older guy now and mostly play of fun (wow the graphics look great). So I guess 6700xt seems to be the basic card to get acceptable 1440p performance?

Depends on the games you play. Here is a nice video of 60 games running on a 6600xt using highest settings at 1440p: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq44u52ywTU

Great deal. Close to high end SSD, and solid RAM. Better RAM exists but gains are not great and cost a lot more. Also this stuff looks good.

Buy a B550 if they are available at good prices. I picked up a B550 Aorus Master new on eBay for $130. That's awesome. For gaming purposes as good as a $300 X570 Aorus Master.

In the ssd page actually says Seq. Read 7,400MB/s (PC/laptop).
