Just a warning, the AAFES website reflects a 15-day return window for tablets. And if you've opened it and decide to return it for any reason other than something defective, there's a $150 restocking fee for electronics costing between $599 and $699. So you'd better know you definitely want to keep it. I verified the restocking fee via phone with AAFES customer service just now.

Dang, I just got a refurbished one from Walmart for $599 + tax, this would have been a better deal as there is no tax, I could technically return the Walmart one..

Doubt it. They'll probably keep this model going this year before doing a refresh.

It's just a great price. Enjoy it if your in the market can take advantage of this deal. Doubt you'd even see a difference with the m1 vs the m2 on the iPad.
