Regular 21s are just fabric. Cold ready have thicker material in areas similar to regular sneakers.
My 21's I can slip on with no effort. My cold rdy 21s, I can't easily slip on due to the tougher material.

The COLD.RDY Ultra Boost uses a different upper that is water resistant and climate controlled for acclimate weather. The Parley Ultra Boost utilizes recycled plastics and other materials. I have a feeling both are less expensive than the traditional Primeknit upper. They are also less popular and dont seem to sell as well at MSRP. I'm assuming Adidas is clearing out inventory for the 2022 models
