Great deal . I have this laptop ( not special edition)
it has been working great . I highly recommend going to Best Buy store to see it for your self. this laptop is heavy it is about 6 pounds with a massive power brick. the motherboard is alienware and it is inverted so repasting the CPU and GPU is little more work. MUX switch. HDMI output is thru RTX3060.
115 watt 3060 plays AAA titles at high FPS. You can squeeze even more FPS if you turn ray tracing off.

Pulled the trigger this morning. Easily best deal if you have AMEX $120 offer and Chase offer (which is another ~$25 after split payment)

This one or wait for Alienware, looking for some good gpu based laptop.
Unless you need to stick to the $900-$1100 price point, neither the Dell G15s nor the Alienware M15s are that good. If you can spend another $200-300, the Legion 5 Pros are much better, with full-powered GPUs and better thermals which allow them to sustain that power.

Does this run hot like the alienwares? I wanted the legion 5 pro deal but its in and out of stock. Then the eBay seller deal was said to be a crappy seller. This might be the deal I'm looking for. I just want reliability that will last at least 5 years or so
If you're referring to A N T ONLINE as the seller, they are very reliable and Lenovo lists them as official Reseller in USA. There was some problem with them and SD in the past and that's why they're not allowed. A lot of SD members, including me, have purchased various items from them in the past without any issue. If you're getting a good deal on LP5 Pro 3070 model ( I think $1389), I would suggest you to get that.

Capital One 12% spring code works on this as well. Combine with 4% cash back 5% DPA code. Brought this down to $862.

Yea I'm talking about that deal and seller. I read good and bad comments against them. I just want reliability and if its a lemon i can return with no issues

My Dell XPS 9550 has been the bane of my existence since the day I got it.

Terrible thunderbolt/type-c support
It can't keep up with audio and has know latency issues for no reason.
USB disconnects all the time.
Batteries turn into fluffy pillows.

I just can't ever Dell again.

What's the point of a 360hz panel with a 3060? That's an awful pairing. Get the legion, much better value.

Good laptop. After about a month of owning it I started not being able to join any multiplayer games via steam for Total War Rome II. Made it useless for me as thats the only game I play. Couldnt fix the issue after a system restore so I assume something messed up with the laptop. Other then that good setup.

I am looking for a good laptop for streaming sports. Would this be good or is there anything same price or cheaper I should be looking at?
Thanks
If you're looking for a PC for just streaming tv or sports. Any Chromebook would do that for 1/4 of the price.
