My advice is to go with their Premier version. Premier is much easier and faster to tie / untie the straps. A simple math, I carry 3 bikes each time, and need to tie / untie at least 4 times (leave home / arrive at park / leave park / arrive at home). and each bike has 2 straps to hold it. so each trip I need to play with the straps for 3x4x2 = 24 times. If you ride regularly, it could be hundreds of times each year. a few dollars upgrade to Premier can save you hours of hassle.
If you don't need 5 bikes, wait for the deal on 4-bike Premier version, which sometimes can drop to ~$100.
I know you're making a bit of a double-entendre there (nice one), but I wanted to add, for anyone else reading, that helicopter tape is another good option for protecting paint on your frame, particularly if you've just bought a new bike and the paint is as-of-yet unblemished (and you want to keep it that way).
I've got a buddy who bought a $2800 bike and I could tell his heart hurt after the paint was immediately damaged on the ride home from the shop by the bike rack. Just trying to help prevent anyone else from feeling that pain.
Anytime bikes are mounted really close together there is a high probability of scratching. I have a trunk rack for 4 bicycles and if 4 are actually loaded, they will all rub from stop and go momentum. I try to keep it to 2 bikes for that reason. If you have metal mountain bike pedals with spikes for grip, make sure they are placed in a position to lower the risk of scraping other bikes.

Just got the premier for $115/- I'll try it out tomorrow. I have One Walmart and one target bike for my wife and I, paid around $170/- each for the mountain bikes. I also have a u-haul 1-1/4" hitch installed in my Toyota Camry.
I also order and received the Walmart deal for two bike hitch rack:
1AutoDepot Hitch-Mounted Bike Rack, 120 lbs Wobble Free Smart Tilting Folding Bicycle Car Racks for Standard W/ 2-inch Receiver $129/- (another SD deal)
But not sure if I'll keep the 2 bike or this 5 bike rack, will know more after tomorrow.
So I got into an issue, the bike rack is for 2" hitch where as I have 1-1/4", anyone know if there is an adapter available? Also would it be safe to use with the adapter?
I bought a premier 5 biker, package arrived busted open and seemingly repacked. I'm thinking about just getting it replaced before I take it out completely only to inspect and find why the first guy sent it back in the first place... Dunno if this is a ymmv situation where some of the ones they send out at this price are previous returns, but it said new.
This bike rack is not well made and will damage your bikes or your vehicle. Pay more and get a better bike transport rack.
Please explain. Do you have experience? Did you appropriately tighten the bolts during assembly? Do you have photos of damage to your bikes and vehicle? I'd be interested in seeing these photos.
I purchased the 4-bike version of this last year for ~$70 in-store on clearance. I was hesitant, as I've always had Thule for my kayaks/paddleboards/etc. I am thoroughly impressed with the carrier. I've had no problem loading a beefy mountain bike, large hybrid, and bmx bicycle in the first 3 slots. Bike frames do not rub, but pedals do go through spokes of sistered bike. I have no complaints.

I took mine back within the first month. No i don't have pictures and i did tighten the bolts. I think it just can't handle 4 bikes. I ended up with a yakima that can hold 4 bikes and has optional stabilizer bar. This one from Allen is just to wobbly for my needs but it may be better than Walmart brand depending on the model. Since then I've upgraded all my family bikes to mountain bikes and this bike rack would not have been able to handle it. Hey, but if it works for you then there is no need to return it. Just use it if it works.

Yes Amazon will show you a bunch. Many people use the adapter for exactly this purpose.

5 bikes adapted to a 1-1/4" hitch sounds like trouble. Make sure your insurance and karma are up to date.
Anyone comment on if deluxe locking is better or premier? Premier locking is either very costly or OOS at walmart so deciding between eluxe locking or premier.
Can I get the premier version and lock it myself using a standard trailer hitch pin with a small padlock to go through the hole instead of the cotter pin? Or would it be better to just get the Deluxe Locking version? THANKS!

Correct it doesn't. I've seen people use velcro straps to keep it from rattling too much.
