I think I am addicted to buying headphones because it's taking all the will power I have not to buy these. I'm trying to justify it by thinking "well, I could have a permanent headphone set up by the piano...."

They need to have just a logo on these things instead of the full brand name. Reminds me of my older pair that has Monoprice stamped on it. Moving to the M logo was much better. Yeah, being picky here.

I was thinking the same thing. Normally I could look past big high-contrast brand name adornment, but add in the fact that 1) its not an established name; 2) its main selling point is how cheap it is; and 3) "Stage Right" itself is about as banal as brand names get; and it starts to become pretty off-putting.

There's a huge following for aftermarket modding Monoprice headphones, they usually sound great out the box but aren't as comfortable, problem with pads, etc. With some cheap mods/diy/artsncrafts and they'll sound and can be as comfortable/nice as $100-200 headphones.

Ya, that was my first thought too, why is this monoprice product not with the Monoprice M. Weird, they already have that logo and they've used it on their other headphones.

Yeah, I have a thing about trying to find hidden gems in the low to midrange price bracket.

Buy the Philip's shp9500. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I have about a dozen headphones I don't even use anymore.

To me, these are the ultimate intersection of performance and value.

Flashlights and headphones are addictive. I have just started on radios too! The struggle is real.

I finally stepped away from needing a 12 step program on lights and headphones...
