Yes, Costco version is way better as the 2TB version has two 1TB m.2 installed. I'd rather get the Costco version for $1099, and then pop a 2TB in the second slot for $200, and still save $100 over the BuyDig version. I'll take Costco any day just for the 90 day return policy, as well as upgraded warranty.

Also, the RAM on these is not upgradable. This is LPDDR4x memory, which is never upgradable. I had the Gram 17 with upgradable RAM, but that came with an 8th Gen i7 that was quite slow. They may have continued offering upgradable RAM for another generation, but discontinued it with the switch to LPDDR4x as expected.

Found the dummy that didn't even click the link or look at photos. There's clearly a keypad on it.
I do not appreciate the dummy comment. I did click the link and look through the photos. How would I have seen there was no keypad if I had not clicked the link? What I did not catch was the one showing the keypad can be swapped in.

I can't find a 17" on costco for $1099, I only see the 17" for $1499. If you can share where you see this I would appreciate it!

What do you mean swapped in? The keypad is part of the laptop. Hence why I wrote dummy. All the photos show a permanent keypad on the right side of the keyboard.

Very interesting link! Thank you. Yes, as I mentioned earlier, I really wish someone would sue Costco over this, or given the article you mention, turn them over to the FTC.

But, I suspect Costco will find other ways to effectively void the warranty... I had one laptop with them where the power brick went bad and it wouldn't charge. When I called Costco support they told me the first step in helping me was to run the reset procedure on my machine so that the hard drive was wiped. When I pointed out that was silly and could never fix a physical break and it would only cost me days of wasted effort setting up the machine again and reinstalling all my apps, they refused to budge. I even escalated the issue to management to no avail. It's like the whole purpose of Costco support is to waste your time until you give up and just buy a new machine.
Anecdotal, but the 8th gen LG Gram I bought from Costco developed a non-functioning thunderbolt port over the course of 2 years. I called the Costco warranty number and they sent me some packaging to ship the laptop to them. Shortly after they received the laptop I got a message from them indicating that the only way to fix it would be a full motherboard replacement... and since they didn't have any motherboards available, they would just refund me my money. I'm now rocking an 11th gen LG Gram from Costco.

I have the costco version with maxed out RAM ( 32 gigs). It is the best laptop I have owned so far. My previous laptop was Thinkpad with a dGPU and always ran hot. The LG Gram has an excellent battery life and quite consistent. The screen is just gorgeous ( thought not a 4K).

Welcome to the internet
My keypad comment was in response to a link provided by LEOMHK1.0 regarding the Acer Predator 21 X laptop. The link points to a review on The Verge which at first glance appears to not have a keypad even though it's a relatively massively sized laptop. Another user courteously informed me that the trackpad unit to the left of the keyboard can be swapped out with a keypad unit. I was thankful of the user's information as I was not aware that such a concept of swapping out parts such as a keypad for a trackpad on a laptop even existed.
