I was just embarrassed to come back after disappearing so suddenly. I just have to get back into it for more cheap shampoo and razors and stuff. Is CVS still working the same way? I kind of forced my mom to go into Walgreen's today to pick up her prescription (she didn't need it yet but it was ready) and then stole her points on my account. She's fine with that, she doesn't do any kind of deals or loyalty cards. But I had activated the $5 booster on my account and then got a paper booster for next time. So that was good.

My mom was taking us to a kind of expensive (for me) lunch place but my daughter wanted Burger King. I only had expired coupons in the car, but they accepted one. Do all Burger Kings take expired coupons? Does it matter how expired they are?

Thanks everybody!
So glad to have you back!
I get better and easier deals at ShopRite. Only the Colgate items have been free after coupons, but check out the ShopRite ad's and thread! Maybe you'll find some deals there.

I noticed that the coupon number is the same for the same deal every time they are issued. My Burger King wants the coupon number when I place the order and doesn't even want the coupon at the pay window. I discovered this when I forgot to give them the paper coupon once.

NO need to be embarrassed, we have all taken breaks! My biggest thing when someone goes MIA is, are they alright IRL? Thanks for coming back and letting us know you are ok!

I think the receipt thing at CVS has had some changes since you went poof but I too just let them print so I am not a lot of help beyond saying that there have been some changes.

So I will quickly sum up the CVS receipt changes. Like many of you I used to just let the CRTs print whenever they printed but still went on Saturdays to scan and get whatever was left. But then when I couldn't stack CRTS and get better deals, stopped getting some of my free qs and had CRTs cut waaay back by CVS's algorythm I decided to try and learn on one card I wanted to stop using anyhow.

To stop having the CRTs print on your receipt at all, you go into your account under Email preferences, In-store receipts and choose "Always Email & Print". The register will still print you a receipt but without any ECBs or CRTs at all. You will get an email with your ECBs listed and what CRTs it traps.

When you want to get those ECBs and CRTs(I do it Saturday to get a possible third week of deals for them to apply to) you must change that selection to "Choose at Checkout" and go print at Big Red. .Once you have printed all of them you simply change it back to "Always Email & Print". Don't forget or I'm not sure what happens to those ECBs as I have not forgotten yet but I'm sure will someday soon.

That's really all it is.

I have forgotten to select 'choose at checkout' on Saturday. You'll get less CRTs than you should and your ECBs won't print. You'll then have until the date in the email (and on the app) to print your ECBs or send them to your card. That date is generally a week after you earned them. I don't know what happens if you wait until that date to print or send the ECBs to your card, but if that date passes, you lose the ECBs. And you absolutely lose the CRTs that didn't print unless you notice Saturday after you're home and send those to your card.

I have also scanned until Big Red says all CRTs are printed. Came home and checked against my account and of course, there are 1-2 not printed but still available. I simply PDF print them and if I can't use them, no great loss but I still get the extra 2 days. Better than sending to card.

Husband and I went to a flea market we don't usually go to today. There were a lot of people with shampoo and detergent and stuff. He commented on it and I said "oh, those are couponers!" and then he looked at the stuff and said oh yeah, that's the stuff you buy! He said I should have talked to them so I could talk to my buddies in real life, but I'm a chicken.

You okay, s-momma? Staying dry?

I know the news always shows the worst areas so we think the whole state is a puddle, but I know from our earthquakes & "'poop on the sidewalk" reports about CA that what they show is a teeny amount of the actual goings on.

Have a friend in Vegas who was fine while the news showed a guy bodysurfing down The Strip in flood waters.

So I HOPE this is how it is for you, but in any case, let us know how you fare!!

You are TOO sweet! We're ok where I am, though we got 2 inches in just over an hour this afternoon. The back corner of our backyard was looking like a lake! I've actually always said it would have to be time for the next ark before my house floods. I just hope I'm right. LOL

I have lots of family and friends in the DFW area where the water got so high this morning. My sister's hubby was out repeatedly trying to keep their french drain working. Their yard was really looking like a lake, but the water cleared pretty quickly for them.

I am in the DFW area, and we sure got a gully washer alright. Weather said it was 8-10 inches in most areas. What made it so bad is that we were in such a drought that flash flooding was a big problem. Everyone I know is alright too

Hoping someone can answer this...

This will be our first fall without a cable provider in, well, ever. There are only a handful of shows that we really care to watch anymore. The plan was to just stream certain channels as needed but what I am finding is that certain channels like ABC and Fox are only available as a package deal, the cheapest I have seen being youtubeTV at $65 a month. This is still more than I'd like to spend. We dont watch anything live so it's OK if we are seeing shows a day or a few days after they originally aired. Is the non-live version of hulu at $15 a month a good option for us? For instance, can we see Jeopardy the day after it airs on regular hulu? Or is that only on the huluLive option?

I would wait on Hulu until the BF deal. That's the only time it's worth it at $1 or $2 a month. Don't know anything about jeopardy. Fox and ABC let you watch current episodes on their app for most shows. I watch one thing on ABC and a couple things on Fox and can get them on their apps. I would check out DirecTV Stream for a couple of months. TCB routinely offers $150 Cashback on 2 months of service making it a money maker. Also sling offers half off the first month. Use ups all the deals to see which one you like. I was pay tv free for a few years until the LivePD revival. I got 1 month of philo (no networks) with a deal, cancelled, and now on DirecTV for 2 months. I will cancel then and find another deal.

For ABC it looked like I needed to input a cable provider to watch shows, at least on my computer. Is the app different? Fox looked like you could watch new eps on line so I'm glad to see that is true.

Direct TV is $70 a month and doesnt offer ABC in my area so that isnt a good option for me. I can't get TCB to actually pay out so I stopped even trying for those types of deals so no MMer for me.

Seven yrs ago I bought an outdoor antenna and a smart TV. I get 54 channels all free. I will never go back to cable, after the cost of the antenna everything is free.
