We don't buy much at these stores, is it safe to stick one of these gift cards in one of those accounts? Will the balance remain safe there for over a Year +?Wish they would offer a $25 gift card increments!
Or if I stick it in one of those stores, will it be available in all of their stores??

Hi there, buying only 1 may suffice for you. The gift card never expires. The $50 denomination is useful for online orders, as styles will have more sizes (e.g. Toddler, Men's Tall). If there isn't a free shipping code, your order ships for free if subtotal is $50 or More, which is calculated Before coupons and in-cart discounts:
  • For example, if there's a promo for extra 40% off sale styles & your order has all sale items, then the FS min is $30 [ $50 x 0.60].
If you need to return an item at a store, they will issue the refund onto a new GC (physical) or back to the one. I hope this helps. Happy Shopping!

I don't know about other stores but I don't think we can store gift cards in our Old Navy account to use later. I have placed many orders from Old Navy since last fall but am not aware that. I usually print the digital gift cards. I found it's easier for me to keep them and track them that way. Since my Walmart.com account being hacked and the thief used up all the gift cards I had saved to buy PS3 (almost $200), I have been trying to avoid saving any gift cards in any accounts other than Amazon. My Amazon account has never been hacks which is pretty impressive.

It took several calls to Walmart customer service but the higher up person did eventually help me with my hacked issue and gave me back my gift cards for Walmart.

Yes, it was horrible. I am not sure how the theif hacked into my Walmart account. I assume they cracked my password and email linked to my Walmart.com account somehow. Sigh

As far asI know, Old Navy website doesn't have a way to save gift cards to my Old Navy account. I have placed 20+ online orders at Oldnavy.com last 6 months but didn't see the feature. I bought once from Gap Factory website last year but I didn't see the "saving gift cards in my account" feature. I don't use apps for these stores so I don't know if you can save gift cards through apps.

Can you save digital gift cards on Google Pay app or something similar?
