First time I've seen this drop in price since following it, for those that specifically want digital.

It was $43.99 the other day on Amazon for just a few hours as well. DekuDeals confirms $43.99 was the lowest digital price.

6 bucks off since release four years ago.
People waiting patiently for gpu prices to drop could take a lesson from Nintendo.

First party Nintendo games are rarely deeply discounted. And they still sell.

44, and I wish it was lower. I'm not much in to fighting games, but still want to get it for the kids to see if they like it.

But then there is all the $5 DLCs on top of that which diminishes the main games's value even more.

Whao, I went to try to buy it and Amazon is suddenly asking me for my card again. Is Amazon under attack or something? They have never asked me for my card info again as it is saved on the website and I use it all the time.

The same thing happened to me. Maybe it has something to do with digital game purchases or maybe something to do with fraud prevention? Who knows....Aside from that, the transaction went smoothly and I was able to redeem the code within a few minutes in the Nintendo eShop.

Yes, it's fraud prevention, usually asks for that stuff and gift cards I believe
