FYI, C to C is only USB 2 speed.
I will only buy 100W/USB3 USB-C cables from now on.

I have a crap load of USB-C cables that mixes and matches of 60W/100W, USB2/USB3, Alt Mode/Non-Alt mode for video, etc...I have no idea which is which.

the only reliable one I've seen is the Anker Powerline II (not II+ or III, just II).
i'd spend a few more bucks on these versus those generic brand sold in packs on amazon.
those generic brands all claim to be mfi certified but actually they only certified one or few of their products while most others are not.

These are usually very good. I used to buy lightning cables from Dynex and I still have a couple from years ago.

Most of these cable are thick as submarine cables, they look like they gonna damage the port. Samsung makes the best cables, durable and flexible.

Compared to this, is the Woot deal for Amazon Basics - 2 pack of USB-C to USB-C (60w PD) @ $5.99 a better one? Same price per unit, but if the specs are better, I'd rather buy them.

No, that would require a Thunderbolt cable, which takes a similar and confusing form of USB C to C cable but has more wires in it while with higher quality. This one is merely a USB 2.0 cable which is not even close to Thunderbolt.
